It is important to us to get into conversation with the children after our plays, hence we offer follow-up workshops directly after. In these workshops we discuss with the children what they have seen and experienced in a playful way. We use different theatre pedagogical methods and exercises in our workshops, giving the children the chance to act out their own ideas and bring in their opinions.
Aitsona-Daitsona’s director Mareike has also worked on creating plays and theatre collages with groups of young people, for example in Tskaltubo and Machkhaani.
Upcycling workshops
Additionally to our play “Shavi Nisli”, we offer a workshop on upcycling. Together with the children we find out, what they can make from waste, they will learn to create theatre props from cardboard, pearls from old newspapers, purses out of milk boxes and much more.
