In March 2022, we ran a one-week workshops for Georgian Civic Education teachers on theatre in education, simulation games and holistic and creative teaching methods for one week in Berlin. These workshops are part of our one-year project CEEM (Civic Education with Emancipatory Methods) together with our partner organisations CRISP Berlin and Civic Education Teachers’ Forum Georgia. Together with Aitsona-Daitsona’s trainers the teachers developed three short plays on social issues and together with CRISP and CETF one simulation game. The teachers spent one week in Berlin to try out and discuss new, inclusive and creative teaching methods and develop tools for their own teaching. They have now returned to their local schools implementing and sharing the learnt methods to bring forward new inclusive and creative teaching and learning. This project is implemented with the kind support of the German Federal Foreign Ministry within the Civil Society Cooperation.
